Visitor Rules

What to Bring:

Comfortable clothing 

Spectators are advised to wear comfortable , weather appropriate clothing. Strada Corsa Houston will be held rain-or-shine. The races will continue, and there will be no refunds for weather related issues.


Shoes 

Make sure you wear comfortable walking or athletic shoes. Space Center Houston encompasses 183,000 square feet, and the paddock, FanZone, concession area, grandstands and JSC walking tours cover an extensive area.


Small bags

Bring a small bag to carry your souvenirs and necessary items. For your safety and the safety of others, all bags are subject to inspection prior to entering Space Center Houston.


Cameras

Photography is welcome at Space Center Houston and at Strada Corsa Houston. Crew members and Festival volunteers will point out any photo restrictions in regard to tours at Johnson Space Center. See comments below in regard to restrictions for large or professional camera equipment.


Hearing Protection

Ear plugs or muffs may be essential to protecting your hearing, especially young children. The paddock will be open to all spectators, and we recommend you take precaution. Ear plugs will be available for sale in the FanZone.


What not to bring:

Weapons

Weapons of any type are not permitted on these facilities! This includes guns, stun guns, pepper spray or other chemical irritants, explosives, pocket knives with blades longer than 4 inches and/or locking blades. Any item in violation of local, state or federal statutes is not permitted.


Large bags

Any large bag, including oversized backpacks, duffel bags, suitcases, etc. cannot be brought into the facilities. Exceptions may be made for appropriately sized diaper bags. Any and all bags will be subject to inspection prior to entering the facility.


Alcoholic beverages

Alcohol may not be brought into the facilities. Alcoholic beverages will be available for sale only in the restricted spectator areas.


Food, beverages and coolers

These items cannot be brought into the facility. Food and beverages (including alcohol in the restricted spectator areas) will be available at both Space Center Houston and the FanZone area. Exceptions may be made for meals necessitated by dietary or medical needs.


Pets

Pets will not be admitted with the exception of trained service animals. It is suggested that service animals not be take to the paddock area, where excessive noise may frighten them.


Camera accessories and equipment

Large or professional camera equipment and audio equipment will not be allowed without proper credentials. Select the “Newsroom” icon for further instructions.


Aerial Drones

This equipment will not be allowed on the facilities.


Lawn chairs

No outside folding or lawn chairs will be allowed in 2017. Grandstand seating will be provided for general admission ticketholders.
